Ode To A Wasted Aubergine

The Melancholy Aubergine

Oh look upon this aubergine,
its skin so wrinkled and obscene;
its purple bloom begun to fade,
flesh over-ripe, and soft with age.

Consider now this aubergine;
the days it lived, the fate it dreamed
when plucked from desert, or from snow
(I'm not quite sure where eggplant grow).

Now pity here this aubergine,
victim of kitchen destiny
- had it been avocat instead!
oh tragic tale of list, misread.

Exams have sent me mad. Send help.

So sad!!

In answer to your question about the layout, I just found instructions online. I can't remember exactly where I got them, but this looks familiar. If you do a search for blogger 3 column layout, you should be able to find something that works. Hope that helps!

Deborah - I've already commmented you back, but thankyou so much! Such a massive help!

A Forkful of Spaghetti - you have some you want to share?

Soph - You fail? Do you even have to ask? Yes. Yes I do. To think I have three years doing English at uni yet to come, and I have peaked with 'The Melancholy Aubergine'.. X__X
